What is product hunting?
when you start selling on Amazon you cannot choose products randomly rather you have to check it stats, demand, supply, competition, those who are selling already on Amazon how much they are generating revenue from it, how much units they are selling and how much fees Amazon is charging and many other things you have to look after before selling a product on Amazon.
So, the process of analysing or evaluating a product in current market, is called product hunting/research. Product hunting is the most important step for running a successful business on Amazon. There are different scenarios for clients.
First Scenario
A client will tell you that I have a money I have an account, I have time but I don’t know how to run a successful business on Amazon, I don’t have a skill.
For this type of client you will tell that “I have a skill and I will put your business on the next level”.
Second Scenario
Client will tell you that I have a skill, money, account but I don’t have a time to do it, assist me.
Third Scenario
If a client tells you that you have to do all the things then you must know that account creation is not a job of VA.
Fourth Scenario
Client will tell you that “I am on this stage and you have to carry on from here.”
So you have to keep in mind that product hunting or research is the second step after account creation.
How to do product hunting/research?
We require tools to do product hunting which tells us all the stats of the product.
There are two major tools:
• Jungle Scout
• Helium
There are different markets of Amazon and each market has a different address means URL if you want to sell in UK a then the market addresses www.amazon.co.uk and if you are selling in America then the market addresses www.amazon.com further you can search for Amazon address for URL for the market of your client’s area.
